When we were kids in school, we learned all about the inner workings of the cells inside the human body, but you know what would have been more helpful to learn? Time management strategies.
But in my signature Brittnie style, I’m dropping some truth today: it’s never too late to try something new, and that includes the way you manage your time. Today’s blog post will walk you through a few exercises to help you learn how you’re spending your time currently and how you can be more efficient with your time moving forward.
But before we get started, let me ask you this:

Despite all of these limiting beliefs, we DO have control over our own schedule! “Control” and “time management” might look different for all of us, but it is possible to develop strategies that will help you manage your time more effectively.
The first step in managing your time is determining how you are currently spending your time. My favorite way to do this is through a Time Audit!

After you’ve tracked your time for your work week, take stock of what you spend your time doing.
Once you’ve added up the total time you’ve invested in related tasks, you’re ready for the next process: Delete, Outsource, Batch, or Automate.

Notice here that in this exercise, we’re not focusing only on struggle areas or patterns of behavior we’d like to change – we’re celebrating efficiencies, too!
