Tiny hugs can fix (nearly) everything
Lover of long naps, sunny days, and just enough busyness
Friends that love me and love my babies are my jam
Introvert with extroverted tendencies
Middle name (you guessed it) Renee. I am a family and newborn photographer based in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. As a wife and mom to three wildlings, I spend my days as a master chaos wrangler, juggler of the mom things, and nap enthusiast.
But when the sun starts to set? That’s when I turn into a photography ninja. Armed with my trusty Sony and my editing wizardry, I can calm even the most animalistic of child antics (trust me, I know the feeling, Mama, and I’ve been there). Say goodbye to spending more time angrily yelling through your teeth than actually smiling, because there’s another way out there: The Brittnie Way.

I am a lifestyle family photographer, which means I give guidance to my clients when necessary, but I try to empower my families (and myself) to let go of control and allow moments to unfold authentically. Occasionally, I will give you a little nudge to help create a bit of magic and emotion, but I believe in photos that capture the dynamics and the personality that makes your family yours.
All you have to do is get the family dressed (don’t worry, I provide a style guide for that part), show up, and let me take it from there.
I hear this one from my children - Jackson (8), Noah (5), Finely (3) - about 758 times a day, and it’s one of my most treasured roles - just not at 3AM.
My husband of 10 years, Jimmy, and I don’t have pet names - we’re not cute like that - but when it comes to chasing our kids and our dreams, he’s the one I’ll always choose.
well…duh. Here’s the real deal, though: I’m not the one to hire if you want a perfectly posed photo. I’m not above looking like a fool - I’m going to tell toot jokes and shake my booty and do everything to get real, genuine laughs. If you want a perfect photo, hire someone else. But if you want lots of little, authentic moments captured, I’m your photographer.
When I’m not capturing genuine moments with a camera in my hands, I’m educating other photographers on how to build businesses that fit into their lifestyle, not the other way around. As an INFJ on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, I seek to find meaning in my work, and I want others to experience the same without sacrificing what matters most.
After my mom found two hours-old abandoned kittens, we took them in, bottle-feeding them every three hours for the first two months of their lives. Each cat shows their gratitude in inventive ways (one by peeing everywhere, the other by randomly attacking me, unprovoked), but I love them and our complicated relationship.
